| Centro di aggregazione giovanile. Un grest per i ragazzi e i genitori. Marchetti: “Un percorso per avvicinare i giovani recuperare le radici” Un centro di aggregazione per impegnare i giovani adolescenti. E’ lo scopo del Centro di aggregazione giovanile, diretto da Emilia Pollicino, nato sulla spinta del Comune di Niscemi e che garantisce a circa 60 giovani un percorso rieducativo, con diverse attività, non ultimo il Grest. “Il Grest- dice l’assessore Giusi Marchetti- che comprende attività ricreative e di solidarietà, ha già ricevuto la richiesta di circa 60 adolescenti. Le attività che verranno proposte consentiranno ai ragazzi di conoscere le proprie radici storiche, di riscoprire i giochi di un tempo. Lo scopo è quello di avviare percorsi educativi e di recupero delle radici storiche per educare i ragazzi al rispetto del proprio territorio e di se stessi”. Il Grest, prevede una serie di attività tra i mesi di giugno, luglio, agosto, un periodo di incontro con i giovani di età compresa tra 8 e 13 anni, “dove- sottolinea Emilia Pollicino- attraverso varie attività di gioco e non solo, si condivideranno e si sperimenteranno diversi momenti di divertimento vivendo i valori dell’amicizia e della fratellanza”. Le attività che animeranno il Grest 2010 hanno come tema conduttore la storia della città: “C’era na’ vota Santa Maria”. Rievocare la memoria storica della città, come momento di crescita individuale e di gruppo che favorirà l’accrescimento in ciascuno di cittadinanza partecipata. “Un’esperienza estiva- conclude Marchetti- che permetterà ai giovani di conoscere le caratteristiche, i canti e i giochi della cultura popolare dei loro nonni, con i quali condivideranno momenti di scambio culturale”.
